Spanish Course
This course is unique because it focuses specifically on the Spanish spoken in Chile, and complements the complete cultural immersion that participants will experience outside of the classroom.
What do the Spanish classes include?
- 3 weeks of classroom instruction (90 hours)
- Beginner, intermediate, and intermediate/advanced levels
- Verbal communication emphasis (listening and speaking)
- Vocabulary development
- Grammar usage
- Activities such as: listening comprehension, reading, writing, and conversation modules
The Spanish in Chile classroom experience is meant to complement the language learning experience of living with a host family in a Spanish immersion environment.
Classes are focused on learning applicable Spanish skills as well as understanding the reality of Chile and Latin America. Parallel to the classes, participants will take part in obligatory cultural and recreational activities, which enhance learning about Chile, its language, and its people.
