The English Opens Doors Program offers several exciting volunteer opportunities for English speakers to assist Chilean public school students with English language learning. Click on the links below to find out more about our innovative programs.
Full Time Volunteer Service Initiatives
Volunteers live with host families and spend either a semester or academic year working full-time in public schools throughout the country.
Part Time Volunteer Service Initiatives
University exchange students devote twelve to sixteen hours a week to assisting a Chilean English teacher in his or her classroom.
Spanish in Chile
Individuals participate in 3 weeks (90 pedagogical hours) of intensive Spanish classes in Santiago and volunteer at an English Camp for motivated Chilean public school students. This program is combined with Volunteer Service 1.
